Cimento Wines, the Walla Walla Valley wine estate rooted in the singular terroir of The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater, hosted an intimate Los Angeles press dinner at the acclaimed A.O.C. restaurant, bringing together a select group of editors to experience the estate’s collection, winemaking philosophy, and distinctly expressive wines. Set within A.O.C.’s warm and inviting atmosphere, the evening brought together wine, seasonal California cuisine, and storytelling in a setting that reflected Cimento’s commitment to craftsmanship, authenticity, and thoughtful hospitality.
Guests began the evening with Negronis and passed hors d’oeuvres before gathering in the dining room for an intimate seated dinner. Throughout the evening, Cimento founder David Wanek and General Manager Carrie Alexander shared the story behind the estate, its approach to viticulture and winemaking, and the remarkable geology and character of The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater, one of the world's most distinctive winegrowing regions. Guests enjoyed a multi-course A.O.C. menu thoughtfully paired with Cimento wines, with David and Carrie personally introducing each selection and sharing insights into the wines’ individual characteristics, the estate’s philosophy, and the unique sense of place expressed in every bottle.
The evening offered editors a closer look into the Cimento world: refined, soulful, deeply personal, and grounded in a rare place of origin. Guests connected over exceptional food, wine, and lively conversation before departing with custom Cimento tote bags containing wine and maps of The Rocks District, extending the experience beyond the dinner table and offering a lasting connection to the estate.
