Aperture proudly served as the exclusive wine partner for the Lincoln Center Theater Spring Gala honoring Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey, which took place at Lincoln Center following the one-night-only concert performance of Man of La Mancha, directed by Bartlett Sher and starring Rolando Villazón. The evening welcomed approximately 500 to 600 distinguished guests from the worlds of entertainment, philanthropy, fashion, arts, and culture for a gala dinner at the David H. Koch Theater.
Aperture’s 2023 Chenin Blanc and 2022 Bordeaux Red Blend were poured throughout the dinner service and thoughtfully integrated into the evening’s culinary experience, which included grilled hanger steak and Basque cheesecake. Upon arrival at the gala dinner, guests were welcomed by hundreds of waiters positioned throughout the ballroom, each holding bottles of Aperture wine, creating a striking and memorable brand moment. Aperture also received prominent visibility across digital and print invitations, the event program book, event menus, bar signage, press materials, and social media recognition from Lincoln Center Theater.
The partnership was exceptionally well aligned with Aperture’s commitment to the arts and positioned the brand within one of New York’s most prestigious cultural and philanthropic evenings. With the Aperture logo featured on each menu at every place setting and in the official performance program, the brand received meaningful visibility among a sophisticated audience of artists, patrons, and cultural tastemakers. The wines were met with a positive response throughout the evening, further reinforcing Aperture’s role as a design-forward, art-driven winery rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and connection.
